Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 56560 (2025), what were the design concerns raised by the preferred partner expected to operate the site at 124 Wellesley Road, Napier but later was unwilling to go through with the purchase and when were they first provided with the designs for the building?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that, as negotiations are not yet complete to have the homes at Wellesley Road operated as social housing, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further on previous negotiations and any details about concerns that have been raised to date.
