31277 (2025). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister for Māori Development: What are the dates and locations, if any set, for the engagement process of the Waitangi Tribunal Legislation Review?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Independent Technical Advisory Group (ITAG), which operates independently from Ministers and government agencies, has planned regional wānanga from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in the following locations: 30 June: Waitangi, Te Tai Tokerau 1 July: Hamilton, Waikato 2–3 July: Tairāwhiti, Gisborne 3 July: Wellington I am further advised that the ITAG is also considering hosting online hui to ensure participation is accessible to a broader range of stakeholders, including for participants from Te Waipounamu.
