31250 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Local Government: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2023-24 financial year?

Hon Simon Watts: Interim reply: The Water Services Authority has a Crown-appointed Board and Māori Advisory Group. The remuneration of the members is set as per the Cabinet Fees Framework [CO(25)2]. The total cost of members’ remuneration was $178,444 for the 2023/24 financial year. It was not possible to gather all the requisite information for all the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for to answer this question fulsomely within the timeframe for the WPQ. I will endeavour to provide the Member a complete response as soon as possible.
