31240 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Local Government: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2022-2023 financial year?

Hon Simon Watts: The Water Services Authority has a Crown-appointed Board and Māori Advisory Group. The remuneration of the members is set as per the Cabinet Fees Framework [CO(25)2]. The total cost of WSA members’ remuneration was $168,213 for the 2022/23 financial year. The total cost of Local Government Commission members’ remuneration was $36,831.71 for the 2022/23 financial year.
