31236 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Further to his reply to Written Question 28111 (2025), what would the New Zealand Government consider to be "successful" recognition of Palestinian statehood, or an 'unsuccessful' recognition?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: New Zealand recognition of Palestinian statehood will involve a careful assessment of the conditions in the region. This includes assessing whether those conditions are conducive to a Palestinian state with robust institutions and recognised borders living in peace and security with Israel.
