31235 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Further to his reply to Written Question 28111 (2025), what timeframe does the New Zealand Government anticipate for New Zealand recognition of Palestinian statehood?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Recognition of Palestinian statehood is a matter of "when, not if" rather than a set timeframe. What is important right now is focussing on the needs of the moment: a ceasefire, release of hostages, and humanitarian aid to Gaza.
