31224 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the net gain or loss of Health New Zealand - Tairāwhiti Senior Medical Officers between 31 December 2024 and 1 June 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that between 31 December 2024 and 1 June 2025, there has been a net gain of 2 FTE Senior Medical Officers at Health New Zealand in Gisborne. Our Government remains focused on strengthening the frontline and supporting our regional hospitals to attract and retain the staff they need.
