31223 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the rate of turnover for Senior Medical Officers at Health New Zealand - Tairāwhiti between 31 December 2024 and 1 June 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that between 31 December 2024 and 1 June 2025, the rate of turnover for Senior Medical Officers at Health New Zealand in Gisborne was 11.24%. Our Government remains focused on strengthening the frontline and supporting our regional hospitals to attract and retain the staff they need.
