31204 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2026/27 financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the Ministry of Health does not specifically budget for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP). These costs are met from the Ministry's baseline budget. I am further advised that for the 2026/27 financial year, Health New Zealand has budgeted for a 1.5 full-time equivalent role and an operating budget of approximately $120,000 to cover CNGP direct costs (including emissions reporting software, specialist consultancy support, and independent third‑party assurance).
