31197 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Energy: What analysis, if any, has been undertaken to assess whether the proposed AI-integrated switching tool will improve outcomes for average households compared to Powerswitch?

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that the Electricity Authority has undertaken both public consultation and public procurement processes. In both cases, submissions and responses have been assessed to ensure that the Electricity Authority is undertaking a course of action for the benefit of consumers.
