31187 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How much in total, if any, is forecast to be spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2026-27 financial year?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that, based on current Board composition, Ministerial appointments, and approved remuneration settings, WorkSafe New Zealand has forecasted $391,000 spend on Board renumeration for the 2026–2027 financial year. For the Remuneration Authority, the budgeted total remuneration is classified as an operational expense and is individually budgeted. This will be disclosed in the entity's annual report at the completion of the financial year.
