31166 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2026/27 financial year?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I am advised DPMC has budgeted $17,000 for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme for the 2026/27 financial year, on the expectation that the cost for the 2026/27 financial year will be similar to the previous year. In addition, I refer the member to my reply to Written Parliamentary Question 31190 (2026). DPMC will continue to be a participant in the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
