31140 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2022-2023 financial year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police’s Next Generation Critical Communications spent $31,500 on remuneration for its Crown appointees during the 2022-23 financial year. Only the Board Chair and Independent Board members are remunerated. Chief Executives are non-paid members by virtue of their position. Please note that this figure does not represent a 100 per cent Crown appointee attendance rate, and the Board had a vacancy that was under recruitment. Remuneration includes reading and preparation time leading up to the meeting as well as attendance at the meetings. There was no remuneration spent on Crown appointees in the Serious Fraud Office.
