31129 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: Does he think decommissioning regulations for energy projects need to be strengthened, if so, how and why, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: I consider it important that the decommissioning regime for relevant energy projects strikes an appropriate balance between mitigating fiscal risk to the Crown and avoiding unnecessary costs on business.
