31119 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: Does he agree with Resources Minister Shane Jones who said there is a "hysteria surrounding climate change," if so, why, if not, has he discussed these comments with Hon Jones?

Hon Simon Watts: I agree that Climate Change is an important issue, and it is one the government takes seriously and is committed to delivering action on. I have not discussed the quoted comment with Hon Jones.
