Hon Simon Watts: New Zealand is committed to achieving its climate change commitments. New Zealand works with the Pacific and others for effective global climate action. A small number of Pacific Island countries have raised offshore oil and gas exploration – including to understand its intersection with New Zealand’s climate commitments and energy transition.
