31101 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: In relation to Reply 30542 (2023), does he intend to consult with Iwi in the policy development process, if not, why not?

Hon Shane Jones: Removing the ban on offshore oil and gas exploration is a priority for the Government. Iwi and other stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide their views on the policy to remove the ban before any laws are amended.
