31096 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that for the 2025/26 financial year, EECA spent $1,266,000 on related expenditure for contractual arrangements under Carbon Neutral Government Programme (M037) and $809,000 under the related State Sector Decarbonisation Fund (M034). EECA also spent $17,000 over the 2025/26 financial year to comply with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme as an organisation. As an Independent Crown Entity, the Electricity Authority is not mandated under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
