31084 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: In relation to Reply 30018 (2023), why is it not a correct statement?

Hon Simon Watts: Because Climate Change is not a low priority for the Government. New Zealand is committed to meeting its climate commitments including its Nationally Determined Contribution and climate finance commitments. The Government will outline its policies and initiatives for achieving its emission reduction commitments as part of the second Emissions Reduction Plan, which will be published by December 2024.
