31079 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: How much in total, if any, is forecast to be spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2026-27 financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that for the 2026/27 financial year, EECA has budgeted for $309,200 on remuneration of Crown appointees (Board members). The Electricity Authority has a total budget of $1,200,000 to cover remuneration related to all of its Crown appointees for the 2026-27 financial year. Remuneration for Authority Board and Rulings Panel members is governed and set by the Remuneration Authority Te Mana Utu Atua.
