31078 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2025-26 financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that for the 2025/26 financial year, EECA spent $227,390 on remuneration of Crown appointees (Board members). The Electricity Authority will publish the audited Crown appointee remuneration for the 2025-26 financial year in its Annual Report. Remuneration for Authority Board and Rulings Panel members is governed and set by the Remuneration Authority Te Mana Utu Atua.
