Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) between 9-13 June 2025: • Report on use of powers during the local transition period over the Auckland Region,9 June 2025 • 2024/25 Estimates Examination Briefing pack,9 June 2025 • Aide Memoire DPMC-2024/25-1174: Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet Estimates Examination 2025/26 Final Pre-Hearing Questionnaire, 11 June 2025 • Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 13 June 2025. I also received another report within the specified timeframe, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. I also received another report, jointly with the Prime Minister, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA, Cyclone Recovery and DPMC, and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
