31056 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2026/27 financial year?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education has not yet finalised budgets for the 2026/27 financial year and so cannot say how much, if any, will be budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP). NZQA has budgeted $17,200 for the CNGP in 2026/27 financial year. ENZ has budgeted $15,700 for the CNGP in the 2026/27 financial year. The Education Review Office has budgeted $13,500 on the CNGP for the 2026/27 financial year (this excludes any funding increases that may occur from the transfer of functions from the Ministry of Education).
