31054 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Simon Watts: I refer the member to the Minister for the Environment’s response to written parliamentary question 31272 (2026). For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, I refer the Member to the Minister of Foreign Affairs response to WPQ 31108 (2026). I am advised that New Zealand Green Investment Finance spent $0 on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2025/26 financial year. I am advised that the Climate Change Commission, as an Independent Crown Entity, is not subject to the carbon neutral government programme.
