31013 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 9 June2025, listed by agency, title and date received?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents from
9-15 June 2025 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC):
• Estimates Examination 2025/26 Final Pre-hearing Questionnaire, 11 June 2025
• Prime Minister’s weekly brief, 12 June 2025.
I also received three documents within the specified timeframe however, it is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. I also received another report, jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document.
I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings.
Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
