31001 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: When he said "I hear this on the ground coming into the election is that Kiwis are wanting to see action in regards to emission reduction," what action, if any, will his Government take to reduce emissions?

Hon Simon Watts: Through New Zealand’s second emissions reduction plan, the Government will outline the different actions it will take to invest in renewable energy, clean low carbon fuels, new technologies, reducing agricultural emissions, and carbon capture. The plan will be developed in 2024 and published at the end of the year.
