30961 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: In relation to Reply 30198 (2023), what specific initiatives, if any, will the Government implement to meet the domestic net zero target by 2050?

Hon Simon Watts: Specific initiatives included within ERP2 will be confirmed next year as the Government develops the plan. Public consultation for ERP2 is expected to take place in mid-2024, with the final plan published by the end of the year. Implementation of ERP2 actions will begin from 2025.
