30932 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: In relation to Reply 30243 (2023), when will the Government "develop clear policy direction for New Zealand’s energy transition," if at all?

Hon Simeon Brown: We have already begun work on doubling renewable energy production as part of our 100 Day Plan, including a National Policy Statement on renewable electricity generation. The Government intends to provide further policy direction through the second Emissions Reduction Plan.
