30892 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Energy: On what date did the Minister become aware of the Electricity Authority's proposal to replace Powerswitch with an AI-driven alternative?

Hon Simon Watts: The Electricity Authority first advised the previous Minister of its intent to procure a new comparison and switch service in June 2024. Since I have taken over the Energy portfolio, I have received regular updates on the Electricity Authority's plans. The Authority is not replacing Powerswitch with an “AI-driven alternative”.
