30874 (2025). Celia Wade-Brown to the Minister of Conservation: What plans, if any, does the Minister have to address the call for financial help from the Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation and Rangitāne Tū Mai Rā have been working with the Pūkaha Board since they were made aware of the Board's financial difficulties in February 2025. The Department provides a $200,000 grant to the Board annually. I am advised that the Department has already advanced all of next year’s grant.
