30843 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Have children and adolescents, with severe needs, applied for Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services, between January and May 2023, and been rejected; if so, how many?

Hon Matt Doocey: I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 1376 (2025). I am further advised that specialist mental health and addiction services are for those with moderate to severe issues. When a person has severe mental health issues, they can expect to be seen by a specialist mental health service unless another service is more appropriate.
