30838 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Are youth being turned away from Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services, due to being 18, and, if so, how many, if any?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that acceptance of a referral by specialist services is always based on consideration by the specialist service due to the nature of the presenting problems, their acuity, and their impact on function; there is some flexibility depending on individual circumstances.
