30824 (2025). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Media and Communications: To what extent is current radio spectrum allocation in New Zealand adequate for the demands of rural internet providers, and what would a viable spectrum expansion plan look like?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The current radio spectrum allocation for rural internet providers is sufficient for a viable service. Additional spectrum in 3.3 GHz was made available to rural internet providers in 2023 and 2024.
