Hon Paul Goldsmith: New Zealand’s radio spectrum regulatory system manages actual interference, rather than assessing and notifying potential interference. The regulatory system seeks to avoid interference and respond when it occurs. On 4 June 2025 radio spectrum officials responded to the interference when they became aware of it.
