Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Public Service: Further to the Minister’s response to written question 26285 (2023); why is the Minister confidence that public service Chief Executives and Boards have no doubt about this government’s expectation that spending on contractors and consultants is reduced?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Government has been clear publicly about its expectation that spending on contractors and consultants is reduced. This expectation has also been communicated to public service Chief Executives by the Public Service Commissioner and the Minister of Finance.
