30817 (2025). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Media and Communications: Have affected ISPs or communities received any form of compensation or official support from the government following the disruption caused by the 4 June 2025 incident?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: This was an isolated incident, which only affected a small number of wireless ISPs. It was resolved on the day the issue emerged. The Government has not provided any form of compensation following the disruption, nor does the Government normally provide compensation for internet outages.
