30798 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for Disability Issues: When was the decision to extend the Disability Support Services Taskforce taken?

Hon Louise Upston: In reviewing the progress made by the Taskforce and considering the forward work programme, I took the decision on 14 March 2025, on advice from the Ministry of Social Development, to extend the Disability Support Services Taskforce until 30 June 2026, to continue to lead that work to stabilise and strengthen the disability support system so that it is fair, consistent, transparent and sustainable. I announced my decision on 5 June 2025.
