30797 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for Disability Issues: What alternatives, if any, to extending the Disability Support Services Taskforce were considered?

Hon Louise Upston: The continuation of the Disability Support Services (DSS) Taskforce provides the necessary surge resource that DSS needs to both complete the stabilisation of DSS and to develop and test with the disability community the actions needed to strengthen the disability support system. My expectation is that the Taskforce will transfer its work to business-as-usual arrangements upon its conclusion and support any change needed to make this happen.
