30698 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Vocational Education: Further to the Minister’s answer to Oral Question Number 12 on the 5th June 2025, on what occasions has the Minister met with Turi Ngatai and what advice did the Minister receive?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I met with Turi Ngatai via Teams on 29 April 2025. I also meet with Mr. Ngatai, in his capacity as a member of the Mātauranga Iwi Leaders Group. I received a range of advice from Turi Ngatai that I will not specifically disclose to respect the free and frank nature of those discussion.
