30642 (2025). Takutai Tarsh Kemp to the Associate Minister of Housing: What data, if any, has the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development collected since January 2020 on the number of young people (aged 16–24) experiencing homelessness, disaggregated by ethnicity and region?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development does not collect data on the numbers of youth homelessness directly. I am advised, however, that they work to keep across a number of the available data sources on homelessness including through the Census and Severe Housing Deprivation more specifically.
