30636 (2025). Takutai Tarsh Kemp to the Associate Minister of Housing: What funding, if any, has been allocated in Budget 2025 for youth-specific homelessness services, and what proportion of that funding is targeted to kaupapa Māori providers?

Hon Tama Potaka: I refer to Member to https://www.treasury.govt.nz/sites/default/files/2025-05/est25-v9-houudev.pdf for information on funding allocated in Budget 2025 for Vote Housing and Urban Development. The Government continues to fund rangatahi supported accommodation and youth-transitional housing. Other funds and programmes include Outreach, Housing First, Rapid Rehousing and Transitional Housing for people, including youth, who are experiencing housing deprivation challenges. The Ministry of Social Development also provides housing support products to support youth.
