30627 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What are the limitations, if any, of any developments of the Police's digital notebook?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Digital Notebook is designed to support the capture and sharing of operational information and is not intended to provide every operational capability within a single system. Its development is guided by the role it plays within the wider Police technology environment, with functions being delivered through the system best suited to the task. As Police adopts new technologies and capabilities, some functionality is delivered through other specialised systems rather than Digital Notebook.
