Hon Casey Costello: I have not received any official advice from the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) regarding the involvement of Customs staff or port personnel in “rip on, rip off” importation methods. However, to ensure I am kept informed on matters related to Customs activities, I receive verbal briefings on a range of matters during regular meetings with senior Customs officials.
