30553 (2023). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister agree with changing "cost recovery rules to allow a share of new connection costs to enter the Regulated Asset Base, meaning greater sharing of connection costs for specified activities such as EV charging stations", and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received since 27 November 2023, on this, by title and date?

Hon Andrew Bayly: The Government intends to deliver all commitments in the coalition agreements and associated manifesto commitments. I have not yet received specific advice on this matter, but received some initial advice on suggested next steps on 11 December 2023 titled “Updating Part 4 of the Commerce Act”.
