Hon Simeon Brown: Yes, I do. The Government is committed to a range of actions to improve energy security: • Doubling renewable energy production. • Repealing the ban on offshore oil and gas exploration. • Commissioning a study into New Zealand’s fuel security requirements. • Investigating the reopening of Marsden Point Refinery. This includes establishing a Fuel Security Plan to safeguard our transport and logistics systems and emergency services from any international or domestic disruption.
