Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What advice, reports, briefings, memos, talking points, or any other documents, if any, has the Minister received on “The challenge that we've got as an incoming Government is that it's become very apparent to us that the police have got big challenges around recruiting”, by title and date?

Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister of Police, the titles of advice I have received from Police are considered for proactive release on a regular basis. These titles include advice that I, or my office, have requested. These titles can be found on the Police website under ‘About us,’ ‘Publications and statistics,’ ’Corporate,’ ‘Information and advice to the Minister of Police.’ Some titles may be excluded from proactive release on the basis that it is not in the public interest to release them at this time. Titles in this category will be reviewed on a regular basis and may be subsequently published on the above website. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 30436, 30437 and 30439 (2023).
