30421 (2023). Lan Pham to the Minister for the Environment: What advice, if any, has been produced by the Ministry for the Environment on the impact on freshwater outcomes of replacing the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2020 to allow district councils more flexibility in how they meet environmental limits and seek advice on how to exempt councils from obligations under this instrument as soon as practicable as laid out in the coalition agreement between ACT and National?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have not yet requested or received any advice on this. The Government’s policy programme is as set out in the 100 day plan, 8 point plan and coalition documents. I will be receiving advice from officials in due course.
