30399 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: How many graduate registered nurses, if any, were offered roles by Health New Zealand between the date of the ACE end of year 2025 talent pool opening and 30 June 2026?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised 559 graduate registered nurses accepted employment offers from Health New Zealand through the Advanced Choice of Employment Registered Nurse (ACE RN) end of year 2025 talent pool, from 1 December 2025 to its closing date of 19 June 2026. I am also advised ACE does not hold information on the number of offers made, offers declined, or applicants who may have received offers but did not accept them through the talent pool process. I am further advised the figure does not include graduate registered nurses who may have secured employment with Health NZ outside the ACE RN process.
