Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: What is the most recent calculated benefit cost ratio (BCR) for the Petone to Grenada Link Road, what year was it calculated, and what was the scope of the project for which the BCR is reported; have any changes to the estimated cost of the project been identified since the BCR was calculated, and if so, what are they?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised by NZTA that the Petone to Grenada link project was re-evaluated in 2018 and has been on hold since this re-evaluation was completed. NZTA did not calculate the benefit-cost ratio when the project was re-evaluated in 2018.
