30387 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What is the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Transport employs approximately 220 staff and the vast majority of them work out of the Ministry’s head office in Wellington. NZTA's head office is considered to be 44 Bowen Street, Wellington. NZTA currently has 1,110 staff (contractors and employees) assigned to this office.
